Biography
Born in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture as the second son of the 15th Suzuki Morihisa (Shiiko).
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Crafts, Casting
2008: Started ironware production at Suzuki Morihisa Studio
2013: Started exhibiting at the Japan Crafts Association Exhibition
In 2014, he became the representative director of Morihisa Suzuki Studio.
Selected as Iwate's TAKUMI in the LEXUS NEW TAKUMI PROJECT in 2017
Reiwa 5: Successor of the name Morihisa Suzuki, the 16th generation
In 2024, an exhibition commemorating the succession of the 16th Suzuki Morihisa will be held at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.
