This dessert plate was created to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the construction of the Golden Hall at Chusonji Temple, a World Heritage Site. It was created with the motif of the goldwork decorations on the pillars supporting the Golden Hall, a National Treasure. It can be used as a dessert plate, and also as a modern tray with a classic design that looks great on any item, such as accessories, stationery, or potpourri. Made of iron, it is heavy, but the rounded sides make it easy to lift and use.
