This relief was created by Suzuki Morihisa (Kanji), the 14th, who served as a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. It is made from stainless steel casting and has been framed. Suzuki Kanji (died 1982) was the father of the 15th, Morihisa (current head of the family), and was a metalwork artist from Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, who was a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts in the Department of Crafts, where he learned European casting techniques and instructed students, while also working to restore the national treasures of Shosoin and serving as an auditor for the Nitten Exhibition.
