The base has rubber feet to prevent scratching the surface where it is placed.

Instructions for use and care:
If the product gets dirty, wipe it with a dry cloth or wash it with hot water. When washing, do not use sponges, and wash by hand. After washing, press with a cloth that can be stained to remove moisture and dry. Avoid using with water, salt, or oil.
